Logistics and documents

The right mode of transport, the right documents, loading at the right time.

In a transit shipment the goods never pass through Türkiye, so the logistics plan starts in the country of loading. We choose the mode of transport based on the volume, weight, value and required delivery time of the goods.

Modes of transport

Sea freight

The main option for bulky and heavy cargo. Full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL), project cargo and bulk cargo.

  • 20' and 40' standard and high cube containers
  • Out-of-gauge cargo on flat rack and open top containers
  • Document and title control through the bill of lading

Air freight

For high-value, low-volume and urgent cargo. Shipments of electronic components, spare parts and samples.

  • Door to door or airport to airport
  • Packaging compliant with lithium battery and dangerous goods rules
  • Air waybill (AWB)

Road freight

Flexible door-to-door transport between Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East.

  • Full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL)
  • TIR carnet and transit procedure documents
  • CMR consignment note

Rail freight

A middle option between Asia and Europe: faster than sea, more economical than air.

  • Containers by block train or by wagon
  • Combined transport: rail and road
  • CIM / SMGS consignment note

Inspection

Before loading, right where the goods are

During pre-shipment inspection, quantity, model, serial numbers, labels, packaging and loading are recorded with photos. If the buyer requests it, an independent inspection company's report is added to the contract and included in the payment documents.

Insurance

Cargo insurance

Under CIF and CIP, insurance is the seller's obligation; for other delivery terms we also recommend a policy based on the value of the cargo. The scope of cover, insured amount and claims procedure are set out in the contract.

Dangerous goods

Lithium batteries, accumulators, paints and some chemicals are classified as dangerous goods. For these products, the UN number, packing group and the carrier's acceptance conditions are confirmed before loading; IMDG rules apply by sea, IATA DGR by air and ADR by road.
